(23 Jun 2017) Iran held anti-Israel rallies across the country on Friday, with protesters condemning Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories, to mark Al-Quds Day, a historic Arabic name for Jerusalem.
Marchers in Tehran carried anti-Israel and anti-US placards and burnt the flags of the respective countries.
They also erected a huge digital countdown display in Tehran's Palestine Square, counting down to when they say Israel will cease to exist - in 8,411 days.
In 2015, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei claimed that after 25 years - by 2040 - there would no longer be a State of Israel.
Iran also displayed three surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, including the Zolfaghar - the type that Iran used this week to target the Islamic State group in Syria.
Another missile on display was the Ghadr, with a range of 2,000 kilometers (1,250 miles) that could reach both Israel and US bases in the region.
Iran says Al-Quds Day is an occasion to express support for the Palestinians and emphasise the importance of Jerusalem for Muslims.
Iran doesn't recognise Israel and staunchly backs militant groups, including Palestinian Hamas and Lebanese's Hezbollah.
