Rabbi Mendel Raskin on Michel Mizrahi Z"L | CBC Interview Following Montreal Tragedy
Rav Mendel Raskin Divers Série : Beth Chabad Côte S. Luc
A Jewish life is not measured only by its years, but by the light it brings into the lives of others.
In this CBC News interview, Rabbi Mendel Raskin of Chabad Côte Saint-Luc reflects on the life and legacy of Michel Mizrahi Z"L, a beloved member of the Montreal Jewish community whose kindness, generosity, and selflessness touched countless lives.
Speaking in the wake of this heartbreaking tragedy, Rabbi Raskin shares how Michel embodied the values of caring for others, giving quietly, and always offering a smile and helping hand. His life serves as a powerful reminder that every act of goodness has the ability to illuminate the lives of those around us.
As Rabbi Raskin notes, the greatest tribute we can offer is not only to remember Michel, but to continue his legacy through acts of kindness, Torah, and mitzvot.
״והחי יתן אל לבו״
"And the living shall take it to heart." (Ecclesiastes 7:2)
May Michel's example inspire us to bring more light, compassion, and unity into our communities.
In loving memory of:
Michael (Michel) Mizrahi ben Myriam Z"L
May his memory be for a blessing.
